Charice's estranged father was stabbed to death in her hometown in the Philippines, leading the teen star Tuesday to pull out of a concert in Singapore. Charice apologized to her fans for having skip the show schedule. " I wanna thank to my fans from around the world for their support and love at this very difficult time for me and my family. We all very sad about this terrible tragedy" She said in a statement. Her father a 40 years old construction worker stabbed by a drunk man while he had been go to small grocery in Manila late night. A manhunt has been launched for the suspect , with a 20,000 pesos ($470).
Charice had been long estranged from her father, her mom left him when Charice and her younger brother were small children. Charice said she once had a really great relationship with her father before their family troubles began. "I loved him and I will still love him, he's still my dad after all" she wrote.
